the distance between dreams and reality is called action.

I'm a California native, born and raised in the San Fernando Valley.

I've had the fortuitous opportunity to live in the perfect place for my passion and career. I started out as a 4-year-old Selena fan performing concerts to an invisible crowd in my living room and have moved into the worlds of acting, musical theatre, singing, and filmmaking. The best part about this crazy business is the number of people you meet. I love people and stories, so this really is the perfect place for me… no matter how much traffic there is.

Ok, let's get down the nitty-gritty. I have worked with the incredible staff at the Elizabeth Mestnik Acting Studio on Meisner, On Camera technique, Fitzmaurice Voice, and Musical Theatre. I've been coached by June Barfield, Chris Bensinger (Book of Mormon, Dreamgirls), Donald Petrie DGA (Miss Congeniality, How to Lose A Guy In 10 Days), Diane Ketchie, Janet Miller, and Lillian Lehman. I've taken hip hop, contemporary, ballet, and modern dance at the Rage Entertainment Complex and Debbie Reynolds Studio.

I was struck by lightning when I won a Directors' Guild of America Jury award for my senior thesis film, Diana Leigh. Ok. There wasn't any actual lightning, but it definitely felt like that. The Women In Film scholarship I won the previous year gave me a similar reaction. And I still can't believe I was blessed with a Best Actor Award at the Filipinos on Film Festival for the short film Honey. All in all, I'm an animal-loving, hopeful, musical, energetic, passionate, movie buff. But how can you possibly get to know all of me here? Check out my "Contact Me" page and let's make some ART!
